|  | Here is another fabulous wedding i forgot to upload. It was taken last Aug 12, 2007 in Insular Hotel, Davao. Here i hired a local back-up plus assistant cause the couple could only fly 2 people over. Thats Me and my trusty videographer Rene. Here is a little history on the couple:
Ralph was Faye's kuya-kuya in church... they literally grew up together until Ralph had to go to California. It was only after 15 years when ralph finally goes home and gets the shock of his life. Faye is now a lady!!! Faye still called Ralph Kuya but Ralph tells her "someday you will stop calling me kuya". True enough, Ralph proposes marriage 5 months after.
The thing i love about this wedding is how close i became to Faye and her family... After driving 4 hours from Baltimore (where they are based) to New York when i did my recent US wedding, we had lunch and walked around the city. From then on they would occasionally call, email or text. They even text my cousin who they met and who is based in New York.
During the wedding day, it almost rained... however, as if God's hand was holding back the water, the dark clouds were limited to tiny drips which was not enough to make us move venue. The parasols actually looked nice on pictures... Right after we took the in-betweens (which was already dark), rain poured hard.
Another proof of what the power of prayer can do! |
