Eric & Sarah Dec 28 in iloilo. Sarah's family are very loyal clients of mine, asking me if i could fly over to shoot even small occasions such as birthdays. Of course because i didn't believe in spending for such an event i always decline. Too bad when it was Sarah's turn to tie the knot i was not available anymore. Jayjay will be shooting their wedding in iloilo. It was my idea however to do the prenup in Bohol since i've never shot one there.

Today i feel like being more like myself & get away from the usual heavy photoshopped pictures i see around. All pictures here are posted the way they came out of my camera. No sharpening, no leveling, no adjustment whatsoever. I personally think it stains the eye less. Hope you like it...

Today was supposed to be rainy... Praise God for giving me just the right sunlight to shot throughout the day. There was about a 15 minute window (4 pics) when it rained but i kept on shooting. Lets see if you can tell where it was. ;)

PS some shots here are from monique (the DSC_????).

Blog EntryDubai & Singapore shoot is full!Jun 8, '08 2:47 AM
for everyone

A couple of weeks ago, i did mention it in my blog how much i wanted to go to Dubai.  Hearing how much hotel was and that there was already a group of filipino Photographers forming up there, i lost hope and thought my chances of ever shooting there was slim.  Those photographers could probably offer lower prices and all being based there.

Anyway, when i asked around when the best time was to go there, i heard that now was too hot and that the "cool" season was start of October.  When i checked when i was free for at least a week i saw that Oct 27 to Nov 2 was the only continuos week where i would be free. Plus luckily, my couple Trixie & Mark offered their nice place for me to stay in lowering my expenses.

A week after posting my availability to shoot prenups, i am glad to announce that I am confirmed to go to Dubai but that i am closing my prenup schedules because i have fully booked myself with Prenups starting from the day after i arrive until the day before i leave.  :)

Couples booked are as follows (so you guys wont be scared): 28th  - Gidgette, 29th - Jane, 30th Sharon, 31st - Gayle, Nov 1 - Valerie.  Then i leave on Nov 2... or sana ma-extend para naman i can go around too. :)

If anyone can hook me with the local "Photography" group there, i am willing to give a talk or have lunch with the Dubai w@wie community for Free.

Incidentally, both slots for the Singapore Prenups on Aug 9 - 12 has already been booked.  Sept 10 for Roma & 11 for  Josephine. if you are interested in a singpore shoot, perhaps i can arrange another one with our other photographers. :) email me directly at artist_ph@yahoo.com

My 2nd prenup in London. Finally got the chance to pick and edit while i was on my plane yesterday to New York (nagagawa nga naman ng 14 hours na nakaupo). This is Gerald & Marieden.. my couple this coming Dec. I wanted to shoot around Underground pero bawal.. so was just able to get 1 shot. hahaha.

2 of our Imagine Nation Photographers will be leaving the country soon and we would like to check if anyone would want to do a prenup or getting married in the following dates and areas:

May 1 to 5 - Hong Kong by Jason De Guzman
May - Los Angeles by Tiqui del Rosario
June to August - Chicago by Tiqui del Rosario*
July 24 to Aug 4 - Sydney Australia by Jason De Guzman

Were currently pricing weddings at USD2000 with album and Prenups at USD200. At least you don't need to fly  them over since they are there already. Pakain na lang. hehehe.

* Tiqui will be based in Chicago to study photography. When she returns i'll be her apprentice na.

for everyone

Everyone is probably looking forward to their Wedding... Once engaged, you spend so much time, money & energy preparing for the best wedding you can  possibly afford.  Unfortunately,  Most couples prepare a great show & feast for the guest by hiring the best suppliers but forget the most supplier of all – God.  You might be prepared financially and emotionally – but are you both prepared spiritually? Seek His guidance in everything that you do.

Sad to say, statistics show that 50% of marriages fail.  This number grows slowly by the year.  “Separated” and “annulled” has become normal & an  accepted status in the society. Quite shameful to think that 90% of Filipinos are Christians.

It is because of this that we are throwing a “One of a Marriage Kind Promo” with no strings attached. No need to buy anything... We want you to have not just a Wedding but a true UNDERSTANDING OF WHAT Marriage IS ALL ABOUT AND HOW TO PREPARE FOR IT.

On Nov 24 (Saturday), were going to have a seminar/workshop in Josiah's Restaurant at the 2nd floor of the Philippine Bible Society Bldg along UN Ave. (near Taft fronting the PNP headquarters).  The seminar starts at 9am and should be done by around 5pm. The seminar will focus on "God's design & plan for Marriages".

Imagine Nation’s “One of a Marriage Kind Promo” Mechanics:

1.  Both of you need to attend the seminar from Start to end. Being late  will disqualify you from the Promo but you can still attend.
2.  After finishing the seminar, there is nothing else you need to buy, join or commit to.  We will give you the engagement pictorial coupon that you can use any weekday except December or January before your wedding.  The coupon is non-transferable.
3. The 2-3 hour Engagement pictorial will be done by a Professional Photographer from Imagine Nation Photography.
4.  You can choose any location that you like (Manila or go out of town), the only thing we'll ask is that you pick us up and return us in the studio.
There will be 3 pax coming along (your main photographer, an assistant & a back-up photographer).
5.  We can only accommodate 40 couples - on a first come first serve basis.

Those who are interested can email artist_ph@yahoo.com so we can send you back the registration form. We'll also invite you to betterweddings@yahoogroups.com as soon as we receive your registration to better prepare you for the workshop & so you can get to meet the other couples you will be with.

Go ahead, this might be the best investment you are going to make for your wedding...
