John's posts with tag: batch 3
Imagine Nation has a long term apprenticeship program... Were now on our Batch 3. Not that most of the batches before have become all Pros but we are now ready to take in and train more people.
The Apprenticeship program itself is free.. But we will need you to buy some books and may require some equipment change (don't worry.. We don't force those na naka canon to shift to Nikon). The program is not just on Photography but life itself.
There will be a briefing for those who are interested:
Date: March 20, 2008 Venue: Imagine Nation Studios G/F Oasis Manila 169 Aurora Blvd. San Juan (across Broadway Centrum). Time: 8pm to 930pm.
So that I don't waste your time...
1. The program will run for 2 years... In this contracted time you will not be allowed to shoot and accept projects as yourself. 2. The program is NOT full time... You can stay in your present jobs. We will not ask you to quit. 3. There is a REQUIRED once a week after work meeting. We meet either in studio or in Ortigas. 4. Yes you need your own camera, lens and flash. 5. You would need at least 30 minutes for reading every day. 6. Some apprentices get to paid status after a few months... A lot of our apprentices become senior photographers of our company before this 2 year period. 7. We do have age preference: 20-30 years of age.
If you are not ready to commit at least once a week, into reading or to tie yourself as exclusive with our company for 2 years. Then this program is not for you.
If you are interested to go, please email me the following at artist_ph@yahoo.com:
